Why MEREN exists

I did not set out to build a supplement company. I set out to get an answer. What I found was a system that needed changing.

For years my body was telling me something was wrong. Debilitating cramping, mid-workout, no warning. Exercise cut short because I was on the floor, writhing in pain. I said so to four different doctors. Every visit ended the same way. Everything looks normal. Come back if it continues. One decided it was constipation, even though the episodes were consistent, repetitive, and always set off by the same thing.

Around the ninth appointment, I stopped expecting to be believed. So I did what most women do. I went home and read Reddit at night, where strangers took my symptoms more seriously than my doctors had. Eventually I found a holistic physician who finally listened. Out of network. Expensive. Six month waitlist. That waitlist told me everything.

I was not the only one. I am not. My friends are trying to conceive, in another round of IVF, grieving a miscarriage, managing Hashimoto's, testing GLP-1s. Different angles, same system, same answer. Everything looks normal.

The reason is structural. Less than nine percent of NIH research funding goes to women's health. Most of what sits on a supplement shelf was formulated on evidence from men, then sold to women anyway. We did not want to be another prenatal brand. We wanted to be the one that changed this.

MEREN is not a treatment, and it is not a substitute for a doctor who listens. It is a supplement line built on one rule: every formulation is reviewed against female physiology before it ships. That is the standard. We will put part of what we earn back into women's health research, because the gap is why we exist.
